Finally free!!

Lenora passed on peacefully. Her face turned redder and redder until it was blue then her breathing slowed until she stopped breathing altogether.
I will be posting further plans later.

  1. We are so glad she could pass on eventually. Now she is in a better place where there is no more pain, no more sickness. Only joy in the presence of the Lord, HER Saviour, her creator! We're Praying for you all. May God's peace carry you now on his wings of comfort!

  3. Hello,

I know that you do not know me, but I want you to know that I had been praying for Lenora ever since I read about her sickness on this blog. (I followed a link from someone on Facebook I know.)

After reading about her, and praying for her, I wanted to cry when I saw that she died today.

I just want your family to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers ... may Jesus be very near to you and comfort you during this time!

Jesus is coming back soon, and it will not be long until you see Lenora again! How wonderful it is that Lenora is with Jesus now!

With care and sympathy, Erin Cross

  4. "The Lord gives, and the Lord takes away; blessed be the name of the Lord!"

Lenora's life has touched many people, quite literally so! Praise the Lord. Her life continues to be a challenge to me. I pray that her death will also draw people to Christ. I know that her dying dream was that of her friends' salvation. I'm praying for that.

But, dear Loewens, I am also praying for you; all the good things and positive things don't take all the pain away. May you all feel God's comforting presence through all of this. See you soon.

  7. Hi, my name is Grace Reimer (Anton and Margaret Dueck's daughter). I did not know Lenora but I have been following your blog as well and pray for you and family. May the God of Comfort come in as such a Shepherding and Loving one, especially in the next few days and weeks! I have been impressed with the amount of singing and praying that you all seemed to have been doing with Lenora through her sickness. May the Lord continue to be your peace and joy in the time of grieving.
    Prayers,
    Grace

  8. Praying for you all! May God give you the strength you need. Though I didn't know Lenora extremely well, I knew her well enough to sense her desire for complete dedication to God. I can't help but imagine her walking down the streets of heaven with complete joy on her face!

  11. Justen,
Thanks so much for the blogs which kept us updated, this was so special to be informed. My heart is heavy with sadness, but yet i'm grateful she is not suffering anymore. The Lord knows best. We prayed and prayed, and that is all we can do alongside having Faith. Lenora touched my life in the short time i knew her, but she had a great impact with her smile and warmth. I will always remember Lenora and am glad we have Jesus in common. Thank you Justen for your help, with the updates.
    Love and prayers, Sharon Cloud

  14. It made me sad to hear this news... although not for her! I did not know her well, but considered her my friend... was glad I got to see her in Winnipeg back in March or sometime. She had such a gracious spirit... an inspiration to me... praying for you all!
